We were completely enchanted by Kiev, so ancient and full of energy at the same time. The cathedrals (especially the Lavra) are just amazing. Though we had some security concerns before the trip, we felt quite safe all way long, as the people around are nice and friendly. Our guide seemed to know all about history and architecture. No only we got full information on the places of interest according to our program, but also learned a lot about everyday life of the country and its people. That was really touching.
